    Which Mattress Should You Buy?

After lengthy testing, our analysis led us to recommend the Casper Original Hybrid mattress. This mattress scored better across our testing pillars of comfort, performance, breathability and motion transfer. A diverse grouping of sleepers ranked this model highly in various categories, supporting the stance that Casper offers a high quality product at a fair price. Sleepers with back pain and side sleepers also commended this contender for its supportive features due to the Premium Memory Foam with Zoned Support™ to help relieve pressure and align your spine.

While the Endy Hybrid is slightly less expensive than Casper’s Original Hybrid model, the additional cost can be justified in the quality materials and performance of the mattress. Hot sleepers might prefer Casper’s breathability due to the AirScape® Technology’s ability to provide better airflow.

Taking into account all the testing results, the Casper Original Hybrid Mattress proved to be a better investment for those looking for long-term value for their product.

    Comfort

    Casper Original Hybrid
It’s no wonder this is Casper’s best seller as it gives the best of both worlds with cradling foam and responsive springs. Designed for restful sleep, the Casper Signature Foam keeps you comfortable and cool all night due to the Airscape® Technology that increases airflow.
    The Endy Hybrid
In comparison, the Endy Hybrid mattress has a quilted top and the Endy comfort foam. While supportive , it seemed less comfortable when compared to the Casper mattress.

    Motion Transfer

If you share a bed with a partner or pet, feeling their movements throughout the night can be detrimental to your sleep. Some mattresses may bounce or shake when one person moves, while others can absorb the motion and isolate vibrations. To assess this, we conducted a motion isolation test by placing a vessel of coloured water on each mattress and observing its stability during various movements. Casper Original Hybrid proved best at minimizing motion transfer through our testing.
    Casper Original Hybrid
We found the 100% steel flex coils paired with Casper Edge Support in Casper’s Original Hybrid responded well to body movement and boost support while reducing motion transfer.
    The Endy Hybrid
Our testing found the Endy Hybrid Choice mattress did not achieve the same results as Casper’s. The transition foam eliminated some motion but sleepers might still experience potential disruptions throughout the night.

    Breathability

For those who sleep hot, breathability is an important element in selecting a mattress. Mattresses should be designed to provide airflow to help heat and humidity flow away from the sleeper’s body. Based on a standard airflow test, we found that Casper’s Original Hybrid Mattress had more airflow than the Endy Hybrid, likely due to the thousands of perforations in Casper’s Airscape® Technology found in the Signature Foam layer.

    Conclusion

After testing both mattresses, we are confident Casper Original Hybrid offers quality sleep with a quality product, based on the criteria examined.

At $1,295 CAD for a Queen, the Endy Hybrid mattress is still an affordable choice for Canadians. While Casper’s Original Hybrid is priced higher, our testing showed Casper’s Original Hybrid provided the expected support for a medium-firm mattress to promote pressure relief and spinal support. It also sleeps cooler than Endy due to the increased airflow.

Casper offers a 100-night risk-free sleep trial and a 10-year warranty on all their mattresses. They offer Canadians free delivery and returns in most major cities. Their customer service team is responsive and available via live website chat, phone, and email. Overall, Casper’s expertise in mattresses stands through the test of time and are a trusted and reliable brand in the market.
