These cotton sheets use a percale weave, which is closely woven with one thread over, one thread under. Percale is characterized by its matte finish, crisp feel, and enhanced durability. The breathable material retained a soft, smooth texture, and they got softer with each wash.

For reference, I bought the Casper Percale Sheet Set in King, and it fit seamlessly with my Original Hybrid King Mattress and King Original Pillows.
Care and Cleaning
Caring for these percale bed sheets is as easy as can be. All Casper bedding is machine washable and dryer-safe (plus, the sheets get softer after each wash!). I tossed it in the wash on a cold, gentle cycle with like colours and tumble dried on low. You can also add non-chlorine bleach to the wash cycle when needed, as well as iron the sheets if you wish.
To extend the lifespan of your cooling sheets, Casper experts recommend washing them every two weeks and alternating between two or three sets. I found my sheets to retain their freshness for two to three weeks, and enjoy how soft they get with each wash.
