Material and Construction
The Sateen Sheet Set by Casper Canada is 100% cotton and the fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. This means that it has been tested for harmful substances and found to be safe for your health, ensuring that every thread meets strict safety criteria.
These sheets have a sateen weave, which is a weaving technique that uses a three or four thread over one pattern. A sateen weave creates a silky smooth surface, which is what gives these Casper sheets their lustrous sheen. Sateen is also naturally more wrinkle-resistant than other types of weaves.
Thread Count
The Sateen Sheets by Casper Canada feature a 300 thread count. When discussing thread count, it is worth noting that a high thread count does not necessarily mean better quality. Thread count simply indicates the number of threads per square inch of fabric.

I purchased the Casper Sateen Sheet Set in King and the sheets fit snugly over my Original Hybrid Mattress, while the pillowcases are perfect for my King Hybrid Pillows.
Care and Cleaning
Casper Canada’s Sateen Sheet Set is quick and easy to care for. All Casper bedding is machine washable and dryer-safe. Toss it in the wash on a cold gentle cycle with like colours and tumble dry on low. You can also add non-chlorine bleach to the wash cycle when needed, as well as iron the sheets if you wish (though sateen sheets are known for their wrinkle-resistant properties).
To keep your sheets in good condition, experts recommend washing them every two weeks and alternating between two or three sets.
