Firmness
The Puffy mattress, despite being marketed as “medium-firm” and made entirely of foam, feels overly soft and creates a sinking sensation. Throughout our assessment, this sinking feeling was consistently noted, often indicating insufficient support for individuals who require greater support and proper spinal alignment.
Edge Support
The Puffy mattress doesn’t feature a dedicated anti-sag edge support mechanism, due to this, users reported a non-supportive experience when sitting at the edge of the bed. The sidewalls are not engineered to bear your full body weight and therefore will not effectively prevent sagging or slipping when sitting on the edge, despite the multiple layers of foam.
Motion Isolation
For this Puffy review, we put the mattress’s ability to absorb motion to the test. The Puffy mattress performed below average in motion isolation tests. The all-foam composition did not excel in absorbing vibrations or movement, especially getting on and off the mattress. If you share your bed with a partner, children, or pets, their movements may be felt while co-sleeping.
