The Down Duvet from Silk & Snow exceeded our expectations with the quality construction. The insulation is well-maintained with a 700 fill power of ethically sourced Hutterite down from Alberta, Canada. Although the fill was warm enough for us in harsh winters, it did not take away from how lightweight the duvet was. The down also carries a Downmark® Certification proving the quality and genuineness of the down used.
The shell is made with 100% Cotton, which in our opinion is the best combination for the duvet as it protects the warmth and increases the breathability of the duvet. The square baffle construction helps the down fill stay in place with an even distribution, preventing any lumps. We tested the duvet with a Silk & Snow duvet cover, and they perfectly complemented each other. The built-in corner loops of the duvet allow you to tie the corners of the duvet cover and ensure they stay put.
